Two Prominent District 46 Toastmasters Tell Their Success Stories

The Roman philosopher Marcus Tullius Cicero once said “A good orator is pointed and impassioned.” And while Cicero is widely considered one of Rome’s greatest speakers and prose stylists, for others the ability to express oneself eloquently does not come so easily. Fortunately, there is an organization that can help.

Since 1924, Toastmasters International has been assisting its members improve their ability to speak competently and effectively in front of an audience by building communication and leadership skills. The District 46 Toastmasters will be holding their annual fall conference next month in Queens, a daylong series of workshops and discussions with experts who will give tips on personal and career growth.
