Laughs, Learning and Freebies from District 46

Fellow Toastmaster,

Please review these wonderful opportunities for learning and growing, but you must hurry; they won’t last for long!

1. A Great Time to Start a New Club

The same Toastmasters value, just for a lower price when starting a new club now. The charter fee (normally $125) and one-off individual sign-up fee (usually $20) are all waived if a new club is started before the end of January. This implies at least a $525 discount for the minimum 20 members. Even with meetings on zoom, Toastmasters can help people prepare for interviews and gain experience in online meetings. For details, connect with Club Growth Director, Evelyn Marrero.

2. A Great Time to Enroll

Every member who renewed recently can enroll into one free path (usual cost $20) as a token of appreciation. Go to basecamp on toastmasters.org and select a new path. For queries – why not attend one of the Pathways Office Hours sessions (see below).

3. A Great Time to Learn

Never been easier to have any of your Pathways related questions answered with our regular Office Hours (open zoom sessions). Sign-up at: https://toastmasters46.org/special-event-calendar/

4. A Great Time to Learn (X2)

If you aspire for your club to be successful, then our December 5 Secret Sauce to Club Excellence is an event you can’t miss!

5. A Great Time to Have Fun

To celebrate the illustrious 65 years of District 46, we have organized an evening of solid fun, reminiscence, and celebrities on Monday, December 14 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM.

  • Toastmasters International President Richard Peck, DTM will grace us with his presence;
  • Mark Brown, CSP, who won the World Champion of Public Speaking in 1995 as a member of District 46 will deliver the keynote entitled: “We’re Just Getting Started.”
