Volunteers Wanted

The Club Growth Team offers many opportunities for Leaders.

Are you ready to go outside of your comfort zone and demonstrate your leadership abilities? Volunteering on a Club Growth Committee allows you to test out your abilities in a safe environment. You will gain valuable confidence that you can use in your career, educational pursuits and community endeavors. Some roles can earn you educational credit on your Toastmasters’ journey and/or can be used as a High Performance Leadership project. Join us. There’s a Committee role that is right for you!

Club Extension Committee

This committee acquires and follows up on leads for new clubs in the District. Community Clubs, Corporate Clubs, Specialty Clubs, Advanced Clubs. Do you have what it takes to promote the Toastmasters’ Brand? Volunteers gain valuable experience in brand recognition and sales.

Club Sponsor Committee

This committee works with the Extension committee to present demo meetings at potential clubs. As a volunteer you will work with a team to put together an agenda and present a quality Toastmasters’ meeting to engage the new members. As a sponsor you will get educational credit toward your Distinguished Toastmasters goal once the club Charters.

Club Mentor Committee

Volunteers join at the Chartering process with the Sponsors and continue to mentor the club for 6 months once they Charter guiding them on everything Toastmasters. A Club Mentor role is extremely rewarding and you will also receive educational credit toward your Distinguished Toastmasters goal after the 6 months assignment is completed.

Club Coach Committee

The objective of the Club Coach program is to help clubs that have 12 members or less become Distinguished Clubs by providing guidance and support. The assignment lasts to the end of the current club year if the club reaches distinguished status or better, or the end of the subsequent club year if Distinguished Club status or better is not reached in the first year. Volunteers receive educational credit toward Distinguished Toastmaster upon successful completion.

*NOTE: TI has extended the dual credit for the Club Coach role through 6/30/2021. If the assigned club becomes Distinguished by that date, the Club Coach will receive Club Coach AND District Leader educational credit toward Distinguished Toastmaster.

Club Rescue Committee

Volunteers work in teams to help rescue a struggling club. Bring your Toastmaster knowledge and savvy to other clubs. Your ideas may be just what they need to breath life back into the club meetings. Vibrant, quality meetings are part of club excellence and the club mission. Being part of a club revival is rewarding and enriches your leadership resources. Volunteers can conduct a High Performance Leadership project for educational credit.

Club Marketing Committee

The District and Toastmasters International offer many incentives to clubs for membership payments, membership growth and more. As a volunteer you will be an Ambassador to the clubs of the District advising them on the requirements of the incentives and how to acquire them. Being an Ambassador to the clubs will gain you insight of the variety of meetings and the uniqueness of clubs in the District. Your network will increase and so will your leadership abilities.

Youth Program Committee

The volunteers coordinate the interaction between the club that is sponsoring the Youth Group and the assigned Youth Group. This role will bring you pride upon completion when you witness the growth and engagement of the youth involved in the program. This assignment can be part of a High Performance Leadership project for educational credit.

Club Support and Assistance Chair (SAC)

This is the District Ombudsman. If you have a question or need information about anything ‘Toastmasters’ this is where you go to get the answer. As a liaison to the members, Club Officers, Area and Division Directors, the Club SAC will find the answer to your question.
